Description
In this side-splitting version of the revered classic A Christmas Carol, Christopher Durang introduces us to a very unhappy Mrs. Cratchit who, while Tiny Tim and her other 19 children are locked in the root cellar, decides to down a couple of tequila sunrises and jump of the London Bridge. But with some unexpected help from the spirit world, Scrooge and Mrs. Bob seem to be kindred souls falling in love. This inventive crowd pleaser morphs in and out of parodies on Oliver Twist, The Gift of the Magi and It's a Wonderful Life, not to mention "Touched by and Angel"! Scrooge's tale of redemption and gentle grace is placed squarely on its head in this holiday zinger!
