Nana presents a New Years Eve celebration in two parts and one for the early diners and another for the late night revelers to bring in 2008. Guests also have the option to dance into the night in the Nana bar or have a quiet romantic dinner in Nana’s main dining area.
Up first, is an early 6-course tasting menu of acclaimed Chef Anthony C. Bombaci’s finest creations for $125 per person. First seating reservations begin at 6:00 p.m., and range from a tasteful beginning of lightly pickled foie gras, meandering through day boat scallops a la pancha, and then the slow dive into pan roasted pheasant and Grilled Dover Sole. Topped off with conversation-starting valhrona cocoa savarin, Chef Bombaci gives 6 courses the 5-star treatment.
For those who want to see the clock swing past the midnight hour, Chef Bombaci unveils the 8-course second seating for $225 per person. This tasting includes additional festive items like oysters, and a white chocolate yogurt flan. Top this feast with a performance by the Bob Bishop group, a complimentary bottle of champagne and the spectacular 27th floor balloon drop at midnight, and the New Year’s tradition has begun.
Enjoy the classic ball drop, with the 27th floor view as your backdrop. The festivities hit a high note with local band Natural Change and a Nana style buffet in the bar from 9:00 pm until 11:00 pm. For $125 per person enjoy buffet items like shrimp cocktail, grilled and slow roasted tenderloin, and beef Carpaccio.
