Texas Black Film Festival

The Texas Black Film Festival will host three 3 full days of entertaining and insightful films, workshops, and events. Programmed for family entertainment and inspired by the African-American experience, this festival will provide film makers an opportunity to reach audiences with films seldom recognized through major theatrical release.
Film categories will be screened in 2 hour blocks. Each block is a separate $8 ticketed event:
Friday schedule:
4:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Documentaries/Animation
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm: Shorts/TV Pilots
8:00 pm – 10:00 pm: Feature Film,/br>
10:00 pm – midnight: Documentaries/Music Videos

- Sambuca: 4:30 pm - 7 pm: $2 frozen Bellinis and domestic beers, $3 house wine by the glass, $4 wells
- Memphis: 4 pm - 9 pm: $1 off mixed drinks, $2.50 domestics and longnecks
- Truluck's: 4:30 pm - 7 pm: half-price cocktails and 25% off all bottles of wine / 4:30 pm - 7 pm: half-price food from the lounge menu
- Houlihan's: 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm & 9:30 pm - 2:00 am: half price draft beer, wells, Long Islands / $6 appetizers
- Stadium Cafe: 11 am - 7 pm: $2.50 domestic drafts (16 oz) & $3 wells
