This month the chapter hosts Larry Lutz, Fort Worth Star-Telegram managing editor/development and copy desk, as he discusses potential changes to the paper's print and online news products. Lutz will outline the reasons behind the changes and give insight into what the paper intends to accomplish.
Lutz has worked at the Star-Telegram since 1985. During the last 20 years, he has held a variety of editor positions in the newsroom. At one time, he was the only editor to have worked in all three Star-Telegram newsrooms: Arlington, Northeast Tarrant and Fort Worth. For the past 18 months or so, Lutz has focused on developing plans for the next generation of the Star-Telegram.
The Greater Fort Worth Chapter of the Public Relations Society unifies, strengthens and advances the profession of public relations. The organization meets for lunch the second Wednesday of each month at The Petroleum Club.
Petroleum Club is located at the Carter-Burgess Plaza, 777 Main St., 39th floor; free valet parking in parking garage at Seventh and Commerce streets; luncheon/meeting cost is $25 members, $30 nonmembers, $20 students; RSVP to rsvp@fortworthprsa.org .
