This annual black-tie event benefits the PAVE program, Philanthropy And Volunteerism in Education, an eight-week course conducted in public and private schools to teach giving to students.
Those honored by Philanthropy World during the evening include 2007 front covers Billie Jean King, Jim and Jill Kelly, CITI former CEO Sandy and Joan Weil, Gary Sinese, and Patti LaBelle. PROFILES include Craig and Kathryn Hall, Carole and Jim Young and ALON USA President and CEO, Jeff Morris. Dr. Carolyn Farb, first front cover of Philanthropy In Texas, will receive the prestigious SPIRIT AWARD for 35 years of volunteer service to hundreds of charitable causes.
