This classic novel about the "Lost Generation" follows a group of American and British expatriates from Paris's Left Bank to the bullfighting arenas of Pamplona, Spain. Discussion topics will include Hemingway's engagement with the visual arts and especially the stylistic influence of Paul Cézanne.

Artful Reading participants explore connections in the literary and visual arts through group discussions and special presentations over cocktails and light snacks. Individual session fees are $20 ($16 for Kimbell members); sign up for three sessions to receive a special discount rate of $50 ($40 for Kimbell members).
