Friday Schedule:
7:00 p.m. – Lecture
8:00 p.m. – Jazz Concert
Lecture by Dan Morgenstern, Director of the Institute of Jazz Studies at Rutgers University, followed by Leroy “Hog” Cooper, a legendary baritone sax player and a Dallas native. Cooper played with the Ray Charles Band for 19 years and will perform a Ray Charles tribute.
The combined price for both events is $40. Tickets for UT Dallas students with valid identification are $5 for each event. Ticket office hours for advance purchase are from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
