A Southern Gothic dark comedy about Siamese twin sisters; one a Bible-thumping paregoric-addicted hypochondriac, the other an atheistic sex-starved virgin. Literally joined at the hip, held captive by a perverted preacher father and a madwoman-in-the-attic of a mother, they pin their hopes on a mysterious traveling man, and hilarity and bloodshed ensue. Directed by KDT Company Member Emeritus Tim Johnson. Playwright (Laura Lundgren Smith from Ft. Worth) in attendance.
Part of the New Works Festival's Staged Reading Series. All staged readings are pay-what-you-can and occur in the Black BoxTheater at the MAC. Each staged reading is followed by a moderated panel discussion focused the unique process of developing and creating new work and will be videotaped for the playwrights.
