On Saturday, June 9th, Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson will be presenting a Youth Crime Prevention Summit in Dallas, Texas. This event will consist of two panels that will explore the challenges that young people face and discuss programs that offer positive alternatives and constructive guidance for our youth.
The Youth Crime Prevention Summit will provide young people and their parents with an excellent opportunity to create a path that will lead to a positive, productive summer.
Participants of the Youth Crime Prevention Summit include: Dallas District Attorney Craig Watkins; Ruth Thomas, CEO of Girls, Inc. Dallas; Sheriff Lupe Valdez; Omar Jahwar, Founder of Vision Regeneration; the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Dallas; the Dallas Police Department; and many more.
