End Times
June 29, 2007
The author of Kitchen Dog Theater hits Eighteen and Hazard County, returns to Dallas with her newest play, End Times. Drought, disease, plagues of grasshoppers and the collapse of the economy. Is it the end of the world or just life in the Dust Bowl? Janie, a fierce farm wife, struggles to hold on to her Panhandle homestead and her deep faith—but both come at a steep price. Kitchen Dog Theater Co-Artistic Director Tina Parker directs this world premiere.
"Talk-Backs" with the actors and director follow the Sunday matinee performances. Pay-what-you-can specials (available to the first 25 patrons) are on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
New Works Festival's mainstage production. Purchase tickets online or by calling 214-953-1055.
