In 1965, a decade when idealisms were challenged, Man of La Mancha arose as a musical event to inspire its audience to achieve the impossible. Based on the beloved classic novel, Don Quixote, this musical is a passionate and poignant tale of a noble knight who lives in a world of madness and can't see that chivalry has died. His holy quest is a mission of salvation to find compassion not for himself but for others. The show begins as a whisper and builds to a shout. Full of emotion, the score features unforgettable melodies including It's All The Same, Dulcinea, and the most famous of Broadway anthems, The Impossible Dream. Forty years later, this show remains relevant, powerful and timely.
