The Slip-Knot

For all those who've been stuck in one dead-end job after another – those thankless, slightly above-minimum-wage snoozers – The Slip-Knot is an everyman story at heart which we can all relate. Author, TJ Dawe (52 Pick-Up) has been there, done that and lived to rant about it. Through the eyes of a dumpster truck driver, a Canada Post parcel tracker and a Shopper's Drug Mart merchandiser, the hero (played by Brian Witkowicz) tries to make sense of his surroundings and find pleasure in life amid the mundane obligations of adulthood, realizing in the end that life doesn’t get better, you have to make it better.
Part of The Out of the Loop Festival.
