TBAAL Hosts 2007 National Association of Dramatics and Speech Arts Conference
March 14, 2007
“Shifting, Changing and Building on a Strong Foundation: The Best Is Yet To Come”
If industry professionals in theatre, film, television and arts administration are looking for youth with promise, take a journey to Dallas and attend one of the country’s only predominantly African American educational theatre conferences. This august body of academic theatre leaders showcases many of their school’s brightest and talented students from more than thirty African-American institutions. Students compete in various theatrical competitions critiqued by industry professionals. While all participating schools are recognized for their many levels of excellence, special scholarships of merit are awarded to schools and individuals. High School Speech and Drama programs are encouraged to also attend the conference. This is a perfect platform to also showcase the school and student’s talent. The conference is sure to be one of the most exciting gatherings in NADSA’s history.
