Sixth Annual Texas Guitar Competition

This unique Texas competition, designed to showcase outstanding classical guitar students, will award $6,000 in cash prizes to the winners. Past contestants have come from countries such as Uruguay, Brazil, Finland, Nicaragua, France and Australia. Over the three-day event, students can compete and attend a master class,a concert by Javier Garcia Moreno, the finals and a performance by this year's winners.
Prize Money: 1st-$3000, 2nd-$2000, 3rd-$1000
Schedule:
Thursday, March 22 - Master Class
Friday, March 23 - Due to unforeseen circumstances, Javier Garcia Moreno will be unable to perform the headlining concert of the guitar competition. Isaac Bustos will perform in his place - $20
Saturday, March 24 - Finals of 2007 Competition - $20
