19th Annual Children’s Cancer Fund Luncheon & Fashion Show

Children’s Cancer Fund will host its 19th Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show, themed “Rays of Sunshine and Hope,” on Friday, March 30, 2007, at 11:30 a.m. (reception and silent auction at 10:00 a.m.) in the Landmark Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Dallas Hotel.
Honorary Co-Chairs Troy Aikman and Roger Staubach will join an impressive lineup of corporate sponsors, celebrity escorts, and local media, to present 41 children undergoing treatment for cancer at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and 81 pediatric cancer survivors in a spectacular runway show, sponsored by Fashion Presenter Dillard’s, Inc. Singer/songwriter and native Texan Sara Hickman will perform live at the luncheon. KDFW FOX 4 Anchor-Reporters Steve Eagar and Clarice Tinsley will serve as Masters of Ceremonies. Event proceeds will go to Children’s Cancer Fund to help advance pediatric cancer research and treatment programs at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Numerous celebrities will attend the luncheon and serve as runway escorts for the Children’s Medical Center patients modeling in this year’s fashion show, including: former Dallas Cowboys Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, Emmitt Smith, and Darren Woodson; actor Stephen Baldwin; Miss Texas Shilah Phillips; fitness expert Larry North; Survivor: Thailand cast-member Jake Billingsley; Dallas Cowboy Roy Williams; artist and cancer survivor Olivia Bennett; “The Toothfairy,” Jennifer Vespia; Frisco Roughriders’ Mascot “Deuce;” and Barney & Friends’ “Stella the Storyteller,” Phyllis Cicero, among others.
