Historic Cemetery Tour Goes to Coppell and Grapevine! As always, our official "Cemetery Lady", Frances James has come up with some unique and interesting cemeteries to visit. We will be venturing out of the downtown area to four in Coppell and Grapevine Springs Park which was built by the WPA during the 1930's and is purportedly where Sam Houston met with the Indians to negotiate a treaty in 1843. Lunch will be at Anamia's, a delicious Tex-Mex restaurant in Coppell. There are still a few seats available for this pre-Halloween cemetery tour. Call 214-421-4500 x101 to sign up today. The tour will stop for lunch. If you are a DHS member, the cost is only $35 per person - non-members are $45.
