The only public Dallas mayoral forum for the upcoming May 12th election will be May 10th at McFarlin Memorial Auditorium at SMU. MC and panel members will be independent of the sponsors. The panel will determine questions, including those submitted in advance via a public web site. Sponsors and candidates will not know the questions in advance. The first hour topic will be “public safety.”
Co-sponsoring the event is the SMU student Leadership and Community Involvement organization and the North Texas Alarm Association. No endorsements of candidates will be made by NTAA or LCI. The forum is given in the public interest.
Attendance will be by ticket, distributed through over 30 participating organizations and online. Tickets are free.
