Hey, dudes, I resent the "wimpy music" comment. While I've only listened to a little bit of Death Cab for Cutie and don't feel fit to judge either way, I can tell you without hesitation that The Postal Service will destroy you with their sheer, unadulterated awesomeness. (So awesome that even the actual United States Postal Service sells the bands' records on their website. I mean, hot damn.)
That being said, my guess is that Peg News member Erin Rice, a self-professed metal head, posted this Best Bet caption. Here's hoping she catches fire sometime this afternoon.

You can feel a bit more macho if you admit to disliking John Legend. Meanwhile, if this postal service band had any business savvy, it would have named itself Starbucks.

How can you trash such a talented songwriter / singer? And really, what's wrong with a little balancing out on the negative karma of going postal? As for me? I'm drinking some "cab" and going "Postal" tonight!

Teresa Gubbins, says:
chad, you don't have to be a "metal head" to find deathcab for cutie to be pure wimpola. i mean, the name alone... deathcab for cutie. come ON. altho i will grant you that their cover of Bjork's "All Is Full Of Love" is A-OK. (and btw, i find labels like "metal head" to be so divisive.)

Chad Jones, says:
Hey, I won't go to death for Deathcab; just don't write off Gibbard entirely.
Anyway, I apologize for directing my ire at poor innocent Erin Rice, when I should have known all along that it was none other than the ever-controversial T. Gubbins who wrote this event's caption.

[Comment edited by PegNews staff to ensure correctness:] I just listened to two Postal Service songs in an effort to be open-minded. But now I want to [take] off [work and treat] myself [to more of this great music]. Is that the intended effect?
