Two Rooms
November 10, 2007
An American professor has been taken hostage in Beirut, where he is being held and tortured in a small room. Back in the States, his wife imposes her own form of self-inflicted torture in a second room, stripped of furnishings, that was once his den. It is within the confines of these two rooms that the play unfolds as his wife confronts agendas of a government that sees her husband as a long term bargaining chip and the media that sees him as a short term ratings boost.
