pepper, says:
It felt like a privilege; how fortunate we were to have a SY stop on their way from Marfa.
Highlights from the show - Trilogy from Daydream Nation and Schizophrenia from Sister. About half the show was newer stuff - most of which I had no idea of the song titles, but know all the words...:-).
My companion for the night, usually a SY-hater, finally "got it" by seeing it visually being built layer upon layer. Pure magic.
As a contrast from when Daydream Nation when released, I saw them play at the Somerville Theatre outside of Boston - the audience was walking out, calling them sell-outs, etc. What I wouldn't do to hear a show consisting of only Confusion is Sex, Evol and Sister songs. Oh-well.
