Mikhail Gorbachev, the last president of the Soviet Union, will be our distinguished guest and lecturer at the 2007 Eugene McDermott Lectureship.
The lectureship established in 1974 is named for the late Eugene McDermott a scientist, businessman, civic leader and philanthropist. Each year the lectureship brings to the University some of the world’s foremost thinkers.
An additional lecture at 4:30 p.m. is only open to UD students.

From what I can gather-- the free event at UD is only open to UD students. There is an evening event at the Belo Mansion which costs $100 bucks.
Oh well.

Clay, Thanks for pointing this out.
I agree, it looks like the 4:30 PM is free, but open to UD students only, while the 7 PM is $100.
We don't generally list events that aren't open to the public, so I've removed the 4:30 listing and updated the price.
