Big Brothers Big Sisters Big Black Tie & Boots Ball

Boots and black ties get a new twist as the roaring twenties invade the wild west to mark the 80th anniversary celebration for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas (BBBSNT).

On October 20, 2007, title sponsor Compass Bank takes the agency’s marquee Big Black Tie & Boots Ball back to 1927, the year it was founded, to provide a glimpse of the decade that gave birth to BBBSNT and shaped the face of youth mentoring in North Texas.

The event will feature live entertainment from Asleep at the Wheel generously sponsored by Classic Chevrolet, a fabulous dinner at the Gaylord Texan and highly sought after live and silent auction items for bidding in an effort to help raise much needed funds for Amachi children in North Texas.
