Flutasia is a group of amateur flutists and teachers from the Dallas/Fort Worth area who enjoy music making. The ensemble was founded in the fall of 1991 to provide an opportunity for area flutists to perform together. Flutasia performs a wide variety of music, from classical to modern, including works unique to the flute ensemble. The ensemble frequently uses other members of the flute family, including the piccolo, alto flute and bass flute.
