Haunted Halloween Ball 2007
October 31, 2007
Haunted, is the largest Halloween event of its kind in Dallas. While ghouling ghost DJs haunt the crowd the judges are looking for competitors for the city's most lucrative costume competitions: it features first place cash prizes of $1,500. Second and third place will receive $300 and $200 respectively and non cash prizes will be awarded for creativity such as "Never Been Seen" and "Best Budget Costume". Celebrity judges will be on hand to judge the competition.
Haunted is a presentation of Arts Fighting Cancer, the non profit which produces the Lone Star Drive-in and produced the Deep Ellum Film Festival. Proceeds from Haunted benefit the Cancer Relief Fund. The fund provides direct financial relief to people suffering with cancer. To date the Cancer Relief Fund has given over $60,000 in grants to individuals battling cancer.
