, 2007
Conceived and directed by Michael Lessac, featuring an original music score by Hugh Masekela.
A company of South African actors and musicians traveling internationally to tell the stroy how South Africa answered, "Can we forgive the past to survive the future?" The story has been dramatized for the stage as experienced through the eyes of the young interpreters who in the 11 official languages of there country, interpreted simultaneously and in he first person -- for both perpetrators and victims of apartheid -- during the two years the TRC was in session.
Talk-backs with the audience after each appearance (except Sat. matinee) are being recorded to produce a documentary. Because of overwhelming public response, all seats have been reserved. However, the public is encouraged to go to the theatre box office an hour early to get on a waiting list.
