Description

This lecture will explore the events that lead up to the genocide of the Jews during WWII and the ways historians have tried to explain this mass murder. Events such as the Wannsee Conference and the role of the SS-Special Task Forces will be highlighted. Participants will also discuss various commemorations of the Holocaust in literature, film, and memorials.
