Description
The Secret War is a cosmic battle between the planets of our solar system to determine which planet is the champion of the "multiverse". This is the 1st tournament in the Cosmic Battle League. In the vein of the NFL, the CBL is a league dedicated to providing intense and engaging competition within the realm of theater. The current prototype tournament of the CBL, The Secret War, focuses specifically on the themes of Ancient Mythology and Metaphysics as the aesthetic for the competition.
2 teams, the Chaldean Enforcers and the Hermetic Pymanders, reign over 5 planets each, composing performance pieces that exalt the planets. Then when the tournament begins, the planets do battle. The audience scores each performance to determine the winner.

Be warned...Most if not all of these events have been cancelled. The cancellations are NOT reflected on DallasHubTheatre.org, TheSecretWar.net, or SmartTix.com, where the tickets are sold. So, like I did, you can still get online and purchase tickets (i.e. actually pay for them) to events that do not exist. Apparently the shows were all cancelled at the last minute and no one, including the creators, bothered to change any of the information that was out there. Experimental theater becomes VERY experimental when you get there and it's not happening at all. Avoid this.

I just got off the phone with the director. The show was canceled on Friday night since 3 actors got into an accident in Denton and could not make it. This upcoming weekend will be the last weekend.
