Description

Timely discussion, "The Spanish word frontera captures two aspects of the American West: limit and limitlessness, border and frontier. Images of the “Wild West” are familiar, but a “New West” is emerging to make us rethink this mythical American region. Speakers from the Southwest and the Great Plains will lead us in considering issues of our own day: immigration, borders and walls, the future of land and water in the West, the new Frontier, and others." Members; $65, Non-members; $75, Students and Teachers; $35. Breakfast and lunch included.
