The 8th Annual North Texas Jazz Festival
The annual invitational event features jazz students from the middle-school level through college.

The three-day invitational features outstanding big bands, combos, and vocal jazz groups representing universities, community colleges, high schools and middle schools from across the United States. Included also are performances by the acclaimed jazz music program at the University of North Texas. All daily activities are free and open to the public.
Friday Schedule:
SCHOOL GROUP PERFORMANCES AND CLINICS (Free and open to the public)
(Friday 8:15am -12:00pm; 1:30 - 4:30pm)
Nearly 70 groups from universities, colleges, high schools and middle schools representing 25 states across the US will perform at the festival. Each group will be adjudicated by an expert panel, and receive a clinic from a UNT jazz faculty member immediately following their performance.
