In Anima Animus, Tina Medina creates mythological representations of gender. Using performance and site specific installations, Medina conjures transient characters to exist within the spaces of 500X Gallery.
Indignant Chata and Insouciant Orlando, a performance piece, explores the Jungian concepts of anima and animus, the unconscious masculine and feminine components in women and men.
Also featuring Julon Pinkston's "Query Mystery".
