Drug and gang prevention education conference

The purpose of the event is to educate and inform parents and guardians of schoolchildren about the serious crisis of drugs and gangs among today’s youth. Organizers will provide attendees the tools necessary to help protect and prevent their children from drug use and gang enlistment. Special guests include, Richard Roper, U.S. Attorney of the Northern District; Jerry Rhoads, Dallas Police Department Narcotics Division; Shannon Graves, Community Outreach Coordinator for Drug Prevention Resources, Inc.; and Michelle Langham, Texas Auto Burglary and Theft Prevention Authority.
