Description

The Austin Film Society's Director of Artist Services Bryan Poyser will present this free informational workshop about AFS's Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund, which annually offers grants of up to $25,000 to Texas filmmakers. He will take participants through the application form step-by-step and screen work samples from successful applications.

At this workshop, Bryan will be joined by DFW-area filmmaker Scott P. Harris, who has received two TFPF grants, the most recent in 2006 for his feature documentary THE PHYSICS TEACHER, to discuss the submission process and offer tips on how to apply.

Filmmakers residing in Texas for at least one year prior to the June 2, 2008 deadline are eligible to apply to TFPF, which has given out over $830,000 in cash, goods and services to Texas filmmakers since 1996.

Presented in partnership with Texas Filmmakers.
