When reality TV invades her home and turns it upside down looking for a contestant for a life-changing makeover, Melanie Barnsworth unwittingly becomes reality TV's next victim . She is middle-aged, overweight and, well, maybe she has let herself go. After her transformation, upon returning home, she begins to wonder what family, friends and the world actually think of her and how this experience has truly affected her.
