Thyme for a Cure?
April 19, 2008
, 2008
Herbs and flowering plants were an important part of life in the 1800s. Visit with members of the Greater Fort Worth Herb Society, identify basic herbs in our herb garden, and learn how herbs were used to treat illness, hygiene, cooking, and more. Find out about 19th century medicine, smell herbs as they season old-fashioned recipes, and make your own flor de papel (paper flower).
No reservations required. Cost is regular Village admission plus a $2 craft fee.
