After seeing Son Volt's first show at the Sons, all their subsequent shows I've caught have been anticlimactic. The last one I saw was actually kind of boring but that was a few years ago.
I've only seen Dr John once, at Tipitina's during Jazzfest. That was a transcendental experience.
