Description

People have been talking back to the screen since the dawn of cinema, but no one’s ever done it with the hilarious panache and scathing wit of “Mystery Science Theater 3000.” Join us as we celebrate two decades of this brilliant cult favorite with creator Joel Hodgson and MST3K vets Trace Beaulieu, Frank Conniff, Kevin Murphy, Mary Jo Pehl and J. Elvis Weinstein reuniting for a special clip presentation (created exclusively for the USA Film Festival) and panel discussion. In a separate program, watch some of our panelists in action as Cinematic Titanic in an exclusive live event, where they will be riffing on one of the most wretched movies ever to be committed to celluloid (film TBA)!

A, I mean LLM, I mean tingthing...methinks (telephone only) could be the culprit. =)

1) I knew we would eventually get around to Manos instead of that stupid not-so-intellegent design talk.

2) This could be awesome or terrible. Either way, I'll be out of town for the weekend. Too bad. I wonder if Joel has aged well.

Ok, so I managed to get in touch with Ticketmaster but they don't have MST3K. They have Meatloaf instead.

Deal. :b

Hmm -- maybe ask them using the names the USA Film Fest has for the two screenings: MST3K at 20: Panel Discussion (5 p.m.) and Cinematic Titanic Live Riffing (7 p.m.)

Lisa, et al:

Just spoke with Courtney at the USA offices, and she actually called Ticketmaster to find out what people should be asking for.

One should request "USA Film Festival Cinematic Titanic" tickets, she says. (And presumably, if one were interested in the panel discussion, that, too, should be prefaced with "USA Film Festival..." etc.

If they a "Riffing Titanic" then that is NOT the same as MST3k!!!! Riff Tracks and MST3K are not one in the same.

Some of the same people and same "movie poke" theme but different shows!!!!

I want Crow, Servo and Pearl Forrester!!!

DAMN IT ALL!!!!

Cool article on for truly hard core MST fans at local http://www.cinemafest.org as part of their USA Film Fest coverage. They also have a message board for all the films including MST.
