Gallery 219 at Eastfield College presents “SoFresh Spring 2008: a Juried Competition” from April 22 – May 2; the Juror will be Jim Burton. A reception will be held Thursday, April 24, from 6 – 8 p.m.
This show features 38 works by 25 student artists. Ranging from functional pottery to conceptual sculpture, this show presents the Eastfield community with a unique and thoughtfully chosen selection of student talent.
Jim Burton teaches at the University of North Texas, and has had work included in shows in New York City and Atlanta, as well as various north Texas galleries, including 500X and Conduit.
Gallery 219 is located on the main floor of the Fine Arts building (Bldg. F). Park and enter at the Performance Hall on the west side of campus. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
