Description

Students and artist explore the vibrant and fascinating folk art of many Mexican regions and cities. Inspired by the brightly colored Oaxacan carved animals, students will design and then construct their own multi colored creation using paper mache. Students will also explore Tin work and Guatemalan worry dolls. Students will strengthen artistic techniques, fine motor skills and spatial relations. Each student will leave with three Mexican folk art pieces. Supply fee to instructor: $5. Instructor: Junanne Peck.

Ages 9 and older.
