Interesting.

What time do shows at the Loft usually start? I'm taking my wife to this for her birthday and I want to know how much time I will have to go to a restaurant beforehand.

Joel, not sure, but the last show that I went to at the Loft started right on time. Doesn't look like Ms. McKay has an opening act, so I'd err more toward 8:30 than later.

This was a great show! My wife hoards her Nelli McKay CDs in her car, so I was mostly unfamiliar with her work. I still was overwhelmed by her music. There were about 150 people tops at the Loft and she played a very intimate and personal show. She frequently asked the audience what they wanted to hear next. After the show she stayed to sign autographs and was nice to everyone. Even had the post show-crowd sing Happy Birthday to my wife.
