For the 13th consecutive year, United Cerebral Palsy of North Texas invites people of all ages, plus their canine friends, to come out to the UCP Life Without Limits Run, Walk & Roll (formerly The Elvis Run.) This years event will be held at Reverchon Park in Dallas on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008, at 8 am.

The event, which is the sole organized fundraiser for UCP of North Texas, features a 5K run around some of the most scenic parts of the Katy Trail. In addition to the 5K, there will be a one-mile walk and wheelchair roll featuring high energy music playing throughout the course.

To celebrate the North Texas chapter of UCPs 55th anniversary, children can enjoy free face painting, carnival games and balloon animals. Also, Ms. Wheelchair Texas 2008, Michelle Colvard, is scheduled to appear.
