WRR’s Picnic in the Park
August 31, 2008
, 2008
An outdoor concert followed by the screening of a classic family-friendly comedy under the stars mark this end-of-summer event.
In terms of music, we're looking at a 7 p.m. performance of "classic patriotic pieces, some movie and rock favorites, as well as a few surprises."
As for the film, it's a good one: The Princess Bride, presented by AFI Dallas, hits the screen starting at about 8:30.
Picnic baskets, coolers and blankets are welcome at this free event.
