5th Annual Posada Dallas
December 14, 2008
The Latino Cultural Center proudly presents it's annual Posada Dallas! celebration. In Latin America a "posada' represents the journey Mary and Joseph take on their way to Bethlehem. The processioners sing traditional Latin American carols stopping at various locations seeking "shelter" finally arriving at the place where they are welcomed. At last finding shelter, the celebration begins with performances by Matachines and Mariachi music.
