Greater Dallas Chamber’s 9th Annual Public Sector Design & Construction Forum

The Greater Dallas Chamber hosts the 9th Annual Public Sector Design and Construction Forum, featuring keynote speaker Ross Perot, Jr. The forum will be held Thursday, February 14, 2008 at the Adam's Mark Hotel, 400 N. Olive Street from 8 AM - 1: City of Dallas, Mayor Tom Leppert will give the opening address to the Forum attendees. Members are $75 and non members are $150. Price includes seminar and lunch. The forum, beginning at 8 AM, will showcase upcoming regional public projects - projects that offer area firms the opportunity to participate in and profit from a broad array of public initiatives. This year the focus of the Forum will be LEED certifications and green building in North Texas. The Greater Dallas Chamber has an impressive agenda that includes topics such as Dell Children's Medical Center, the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum hospital in the world, Hector P. Garcia Middle School in the Dallas Independent School District, LEED design in progress from the University of Texas at Arlington, City of Masdar, the first carbon free city and several representatives of transportation agencies in North Texas.
