This event features two world famous public figures, admired and followed by people in Latin American countries, and Hispanics in the United States. They are Spanish author and speaker, Carlos Cuauhtmoc Snchez, and bilingual musician, Tony Melendez.
Through his dedication to helping others, and his special approach based on human values, Carlos Cuauhtmoc S nchez challenges others to see their lives in an exciting new way. Tony Melendez was born without arms because his mother was prescribed thalidomide, a drug used to help calm morning sickness during her pregnancy. While singing and playing his g! uitar with his feet, this award-winning musician inspires others with his message of hope wherever he goes. This Spanish language program is simultaneously interpreted in English by audio device.
Advance tickets are $25 (adults and children ages 10 and up) and $30.00 at the door. For more information call 972-669-5031 (English), or 972-669-5036 (Spanish). All proceeds benefit literacy programs presented by the organizer, DCET/Believe in Yourself, Inc.
