Free Kidney Screening
February 16, 2008
The Kidney Early Evaluation Program (KEEP) is a pre-screen for kidney disease. The purpose of the program is to raise overall awareness of kidney disease among the community, to promote healthy lifestyles and to provide the community with valuable health information. During each screening, there are three basic tests that are performed, with an on-site physician consultation following. Other results will be sent off to a lab, which the participant will receive 4-6 weeks later in the mail. This program is targeted towards at risk individuals, who are hypertensive, diabetic or have a 1st degree family member with kidney disease or a transplant.
