Dallas Presidential Visits
Although President Kennedy’s fateful trip to Dallas in 1963 is tragically well-known to the entire world, every U.S. president of the twentieth century has visited Dallas, either as president, a presidential candidate or former president. Local historian, Sam Childers, will talk about these visits beginning with President Theodore Roosevelt’s 1905 trip to the present day discussion of locating President George W. Bush’s presidential library here.
This program is sponsored by the Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture.
