-Kruger begins his third season as head men's basketball coach at UNLV and his 22nd season as a collegiate head coach where he has recorded almost 400 wins.
-Kruger helped the Runnin' Rebels reach 30 wins last season and a Mountain West Conference title where UNLV reached the Sweet 16 in the 2007 NCAA Tournament.
-Kruger spent time as the head men's basketball caoch at UNLV (2004-present), University of Illinois (1996-2000), University of Florida (1990-1996), Kansas State (1986-1990) and University of Texas-Pan American (1982-1986).
