From 9 am – 10 pm, City Park of Lake Dallas is filled with free 4th of July festivities! Festivities include an old-fashioned parade, kid’s games, a giant water slide, inflatables, contests, great food, art/craft booths and live entertainment. The 2nd annual Lake Cities Idol Competition will also take place. Shoreline's End and Eleven Hundred Springs will be providing live music and after they finish, a spectacular fireworks show tops off the celebration.
