Parking will be $8 and only gates 2, 5, 6, & 13 will be open for parking.
Independence Day celebration to rank among America's top 20 fireworks programs featuring spectacular Fireworks by Grucci, a patriotic program, musical performances, food and more.
The family-friendly event will feature a state-of-the-art national-class fireworks show by Grucci. The fireworks will be synchronized to choreographed music with live broadcast on WRR 101.1 FM. The fireworks show will begin at 9:30 p.m. Viewing areas with sound will be located in the park along the Esplanade, Lagoon, Cotton Bowl Plaza and Big Tex Circle.
Special patriotic program including a 45-minute concert by the Dallas Wind Symphony will be held outside the Hall of State. (starts at 8:15 p.m.)
City of Dallas' Office of Cultural Affairs Neighborhood Touring Program will have musical artists performing adjacent to each museum. (FREE ADMISSION TO MUSEUMS FROM 5 - 8 p.m.)
Attendees are invited to bring in lawn chairs, blankets and picnic-type foods. Concessions will be available for sale.
