Participants will learn how to build opportunities with the State of Texas. Robert T. Melvin, small business advocate, Office of Governor Rick Perry, currently serves as the small business development coordinator for the Executive Office of the Governor-Economic Development and Tourism Division. Melvin’s responsibilities include identifying financial barriers for small and historically underutilized businesses, and developing strategies for small business development throughout the State of Texas.
